Tyler Morris, MD

Dr. Morris is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in musculoskeletal trauma and joint replacement.

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Morris graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and attended Drexel University College of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed a 6 year residency in orthopaedic surgery and research at the University of Pennsylvania, and did an additional fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Morris specializes in the treatment of acute orthopaedic injuries and fractures; pelvis and acetabular injuries; hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty; poly-trauma; periprosthetic injuries; complex nonunions & malunions; and infections. Dr. Morris believes in a patient-centered approach to orthopaedic care, with a focus on multimodal pain treatment, detailed orthopaedic rehabilitation and complete medical care. He has served on the Medical Education Committee at Tennova Hospital in Clarksville and is the current Vice Chair of Surgery.

Dr. Morris is married to Dr. Kristin Van Heertum, a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist at the Nashville Fertility Center, and together they have 2 young daughters. In their free time, they like to spend time with family, read, travel, and outdoor activities with their dog.
